The Consultation
Your skin will be evaluated by a licensed esthetician, and you will be asked about your skin care goals. If appropriate, a program of treatments will be offered to you and a complete medical history will be taken. The cost of the care will be explained and you will be given a consent form to read and sign before your sessions begin.
How Does It Work?
Microdermabrasion uses Corundum crystals or a diamond wand to aggressively exfoliate away the dull layer of dead skin. A slight vacuum removes the exfoliated cells and corundum crystals. Microdermabrasion leaves your skin smooth, retexturized, soft and glowing. Microdermabrasion is ideal for:
- Acne-scarring, fine lines and uneven pigmentation
- Deep exfoliation in conjunction with a facial or a peel
- Deep exfoliation between IPL Skin rejuvenation treatments

Pre Treatment Instructions
- Avoid sun exposure & tanning beds for 1 week prior to your appointment.
- Avoid using Retin-A or retinol products for at least 72 hours prior to your appointment.
Post Treatment Instructions
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for 72 hours.
- Daily use of a sun screen with spf 30 or higher.
